Failure & Success - Motivation Monday
I HAVE THE STRENGTH TO ENDURE ALL FAILURES AND SUCCESSES.
As we enter 2024, we contemplate all that happened over the past year, both successes and failures. We think about all that went right and all that went wrong. We vow to do better, to grow, to learn. And some of us are just exhausted. Tired of always having to learn. Tired from pushing through. Tired of all the failures and not enough successes.
I am here to tell you....you can do this. With God, you can do anything. You do have the strength to endure all failures and successes. You have the strength, with God. He has you, he's with you, you can do this!
As you contemplate this affirmation all week, here are seven quotes for you to think about. How do these speak to you? How do these quotes apply to your life and how can you grow from them?
MONDAY
“Trust the Lord with all your heart, and don’t depend on your own understanding. Remember the Lord in all you do, and he will give you success.”
Our minds are fickle - they fail us. We humans are selfish by nature. We are imperfect and we will fail sometimes. We must always rely on God and what he wants - we must do it His way. When we do that, we will succeed.
TUESDAY
“For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.”
Be it seven, or two, or seventy. God will help you rise again and keep going. Trust Him.
WEDNESDAY
“We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed.”
You and I will get hurt sometimes. We will be hurt and insulted and we may be torn down. But even in those darkest moments, God is with us....always. He is ALWAYS there. With Him, you are never alone and destroyed. Let God be there for you, ready to pick you up when you are hurt and down.
THURSDAY
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.”
I imagine a mother and a child reading this. A child who tripped and fell after his mother told him to stop running so fast. The mother then picks the child up, steadies him, brushes him off, and comforts him with words of affirmation and comfort. It's okay to make mistakes, it's okay to fall, it's okay to fail. He will help you back up, like any good parent does. He wants you to succeed in life. God wants you to do well.
FRIDAY
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
All of us face unimaginable temptation at times during our lives, but with God and his verses, we are able to overcome and rise above. With God guiding us, we are able to overcome temptation and remain protected by His grace.
SATURDAY
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
This is probably the most well known verse out of all of these. This verse reminds us that anything is possible when we walk side by side with God. He never abandons us and is always there, right by our side, to give us the strength we need to carry on. There isn't anything He cannot do. Let Him help you.
SUNDAY
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
We all face hardships and faith testing situations throughout our lives, it is through these hardships that our faith grows. We must learn to find joy in the idea that we have the potential to grow closer and closer to God with every hardship we have. We must let these trials help us grow in our love for God, giving us the fullness of His love.
