MY BUSINESS IS THRIVING IN EVERY WAY
It's almost Lent! Can you believe it??
This week, we will be focusing on your business thriving, your success, and God's part in all of that.

MONDAY
“Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.”
This one is a bit harsh to start off with, but I think it's an important thing to remember. We can celebrate our success in business, that we are thriving, but we must remember that riches are of this world, not of eternal life. Absolutely celebrate success! Just remember, it's all done in the name of God, and the sole purpose is to get us to heaven. Our businesses thrive because of God. No matter how successful we are, we must always glorify God and His name. Everything is for Him.
TUESDAY
“And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.”
In this verse, King Hezekiah dedicated himself completely to serving God in the temple, diligently following the laws and commandments, and doing everything with a wholehearted commitment to seek God, which resulted in his success and prosperity. The lesson? Complete and total dedication and devotion to God in every aspect of life. Due to this, he prospered. He thrived.
WEDNESDAY
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
We are the fruit of the Lord, and we must perch ourselves close to the waters of truth. If we stray too far from the water source, God, like a plant, we wither and die. We would not produce fruit and thrive. For us, like trees, to produce fruit, we must surround ourselves with the water of truth, basking in the glory of God. If you are thriving, you are where you are meant to be. Thank God for all He has given you, and remember to stay close to that water that has given you so much life.
THURSDAY
“Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.”
As you ponder on your success, and reflect on how your business is thriving, realize it is because of careful choices, thought out choices. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Make sure your choices continue to be methodical, thought out, glorifying God, not hasty and rash. Impulsive decisions rarely work out for the best.
FRIDAY
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
TRUST IN GOD! I mean it. At any time, God will bless you - He will provide. We must be open to listening and doing what He asks us to do. When we rely on His grace, we can trust that He will supply us with the resources, wisdom and strength necessary to fulfill His purposes and achieve great things for His glory.
SATURDAY
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
As Catholic business owners, we are called to approach business differently than secular business owners. We have different responsibilities, and different ultimate goals. We must remain steadfast in our goals, remembering our standards are different than for everyone else. We must resist conforming to the world's standards and instead be transformed by renewing our minds. When we align our minds with God's truth, it enables us to pursue accomplishments that are in line with His perfect plan.
SUNDAY
“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
This is a prayer that asks God to equip people to do His will. It also expresses gratitude for God's provision for salvation through Jesus Christ.
Use this prayer to help push you through, remembering to not only celebrate your prosperity, but to also give thanks to Him who made it possible. He will give you everything you need. You will thrive in the ways God wants you to thrive, although it may not be in the ways you expect. He will take care of you! Always.
So as you proceed through this week...
...remember that you absolutely should celebrate your thriving business!! Just remember to thank God for all He has given you. After all, it is He who has made it possible for your business to thrive! As you yourself thrive in your love for God, your business will soon follow.
