My Past Does Not Define my Future Successes in Business
My past does not define my future success in business…or does it?
This is been a hard lesson for me - I get bogged down with what has been, what used to be - I get stuck. Stuck in what I should have done, what could have been.
Instead, I need to focus on what is. What could be. And what I can change NOW. All those decisions and events are in the past - I cannot change them. I can only learn from them. With every failure, I am NOT starting over, I am starting AGAIN. I am starting again, one tiny step up from where I was before. With each failure, with each decision, I am a better person, a more educated person, a person with more wisdom and knowledge, ready to take on the world.
Of course, I am not alone. This is not just me - God is really who gets me through it all. I could not do any of this without him. My faith now is not what it used to be, therefore, my past cannot predict what is to come.
With every passing day, we gain more knowledge, we gain more faith, we become more…always striving to grow and learn. Like everyone, I go through my own dry spells, both in business and in faith - but every single time, God carries me though, lifting me up to where I need to be.
So here’s to growth, here’s to faith, here’s to more failures and more successes! Here’s to constantly building your personal brand, figuring out who you are as a person, and allowing God to guide your way!
