> Black Shirts are not ideal - they show ALL the lint and hair. If you can, choose a different color top.
> If you have time, it would be very helpful to de-lint your child's clothes before they come to school/have their session. I will also have a lint brush, but doing it before you leave the house helps a lot.
> If your child has a scrape or bruise you would like edited out, please let me know. DO NOT try to cover it up with makeup. Trying to cover it up actually makes it much harder to edit out in post processing.
> Acne: It's a sensitive topic. I typically edit out obvious and distracting pimples that are not usually part of the child's face, but I do not heavily edit out acne. Skin may still look a little blotchy or pink. My style is raw authenticity, so I will not fully edit out acne. If this is something you would like to have, I can refer you to someone who can do that for you for an additional cost.
> For girls, understand make-up is easily visible in these photos since they are so close up. I would double check mascara clumps, make sure eye shadow is smooth, and that foundation is rubbed in completely.
> You can talk through the session with your kids if they are nervous. I won't make them pose in weird ways and I am not scary, I promise! I LOVE it when kids tell me jokes, make silly faces, and overall, just act silly for me. I get the best photos that way.
> If any child has special needs (hearing impaired, ASD, ADHD, etc) please let me know!!! I would love to work with you on making this session flow the best it can.
