FAQ

What is your minimum number for booking a school?

For Option 1, there is no minimum. The fee applies to any school/group size up to 120 people. Over 120 people will be an additional fee. For Option 2, there needs to be at least 10 children being photographed for me to confirm a booking. If you do not have the minimum number, I can still photograph, but the minimum amount still applies ($250).

What is your maximum number for booking a school or co-op?

For Option 1, This would be more like the typical school photography experience. I can get roughly 100 people in one hour, so plan for about 2 hours if you have between 100-200 people.

For Option 2, I tap out at 4 hours of shooting per day, and 20 kids per hour. That means, I max out at 80 kids per day. If you have a need for more than that, I am open to more than one day of photographing.

What equipment will you bring?

If you choose to have indoor portraits, I will bring my background (usually blue / brown), my lights, my camera, and a tripod. I will also bring a chair or step stool for the students.

If you choose outdoor photos for your students, I will just bring my camera and use natural light. Sometimes, I use my reflector depending on the location. If you would like the professional backdrop outdoors, I can bring that as well.

What ages do you photograph?

I can photograph babies up to adults! I can adapt to any age needing a photograph - so please don't assume that your student is too young or too old. Do you as a teacher want a photo too? I would be HAPPY to take it!

What are the digital image and fine art prices?

I have digital downloads as well as prints and wall art available all through your student's online gallery.

Can we use a different background than what I see in your photos?

Yes! Just let me know what you are looking for/wanting and I will make it happen! I do like to remind clients that some colors do not work well with some outfits or skin tones, and that blue or neutral backgrounds (like white, black, wood, gray) are typically best.

Additional Examples: pink, white, black, green, blue, teal, orange, wood, brick, etc.

Will you come to us, or do we have to come to you?

The best part? I COME TO YOU! Wherever you meet, I will be there on picture day! I usually need around 30-45 minutes minutes to set up and test lighting, and then we can get started.

How does payment work?

For Option 1, the school or group pays me directly when booking. I do not deal with payment from any individual family.

For Option 2, each parent pays me directly and it is booked like a mini session. Each student has their own spot booked and paid for by their own family. If there are less than 10 students for this option, the school will be responsible for the remainder of the $250 minimum.
