I have struggled with the color green my whole life. I never really liked the color, yet it has always stood out to me as the color of growth and renewal, always standing out as the color of spring. I then went on to go to college and the colors were green and orange - two of my least favorite colors. I had no choice though, but to embrace the green. So I bought all the gear, wore my colors with joy, and learned that green isn't such a bad color after all.
I learned that if I could just embrace the uncomfortable, embrace the new, that something beautiful can grow from that. I now love the color green, which is a good thing since I live in the Evergreen state now 😉 🌲
On this St. Patrick's day, my goal is to continue with the uncomfortable, to continue with the new, with Christ by my side, always with me.
