My Favorite Snohomish County Locations for Senior Photos

It's summer, which means.....

SENIOR PHOTO TIME!

Here are a few of my favorite places to take senior photos in Snohomish County. Are any of these familiar to you?

Snohomish Gazebo

Person in blue cowl neck sweater with decorative buttons leans against corrugated wall outdoors on autumn day.
A collage of four photos against a brick wall background showing a person in a denim jacket smiling warmly.
A woman in a floral blue dress stands outdoors near trees in natural lighting and a soft bokeh effect.
Person wearing denim jacket sits cross-legged on wooden deck with white railing and green foliage in background.

The Beach

A joyful person wearing a gray cardigan and white shirt laughs heartily while standing on a beach near the ocean.
Portrait of a young woman with long dark wavy hair smiling outdoors in natural sunlight.
Portrait of someone in a floral print top with short dark hair against a dark background.
Closeup portrait shot outdoors in natural sunlight shows bright smile and windswept brown hair.

The beach

If you didn't know already, I grew up on the beach in southern California. I spent hours on the beach doing homework year round, summers were spent on the sand and in the. Water. My high school was 4 blocks away from the beach. There's something so serene about the ocean and beach.

A Farm

A person wearing black pants sits in tall grass beside a grazing white cow on a misty day near tall evergreen trees.
Someone in casual attire walks their golden retriever dog along a gravel path surrounded by lush green foliage.
Young person wearing a white dress and black hat leans on a rustic white fence near a red barn on a summer day.
Black and white portrait of someone in a cowboy hat and white dress standing outdoors among foliage.

I LOVE animals! If you have your own farm, that's even better! Horses, cows, dogs, chickens, goats....the more the merrier! We can take it at your farm, a friend's farm, or somewhere else local!

Hiking

A person in a floral maxi dress laughs joyfully while standing beside a large redwood tree trunk in a forest setting.
Black and white portraits capture joyful expressions and movement in a flowing patterned dress against a textured background.
Outdoor portrait of someone wearing a purple plaid shirt with wavy brown hair sitting on rocks.
A black and white portrait photo of someone wearing a plaid button-up shirt over a white t-shirt.

While I haven't done much hiking lately, the photos from a hiking shoot can be absolutely breathtaking! Deering Wildflower Acre is an adorable little forest tucked away in south Marysville and it's my favorite place! It's a very mild hike - technically stroller and wheelchair accessible!

Arlington Lavender Farm

Family enjoys playful moments with their white puppy in a blooming lavender field during summer.
A white Labrador puppy wearing a blue collar receives a treat from an outstretched hand with purple flowers in background.
A family stands outside Purple Patch Lavender Farm storefront with rustic wooden signage and retail displays visible behind them.
Two children in matching light blue ruffled dresses stand together against a white wall on gravel ground.

This makes the best summer senior photo experience! Take in the amazing aroma, watch the buzzing bees, admire the stunning view, and grab some lavender ice cream and lemonade for the complete experience! You can even see some chickens and turkeys while you’re there!

Your Home!

Black and white portrait of an intense young person wearing a Del Mar t-shirt with vintage car graphic.
A set of photoshoot poses showing off a colorful abstract print summer top against a white wall backdrop.
Black and white portrait showing an energetic smile and long flowing hair with layered necklaces against outdoor setting.
A student wearing a dark green varsity letterman jacket with white sleeves smiles warmly in an outdoor portrait.

This is the perfect option for those who are much more shy about getting their photos taken. Stay at home, where it's safe and comfortable, so we can get the best photos possible! Stairs, fences, patios/porches, all make great backgrounds for photos.

This is also a great option for those who have anxiety or special needs, to minimize stress of going out or being in a public place.

So what are you waiting for??
