Throwback!

Once upon a time, I was very green. I was a newbie to the world of photography, desperately trying to be as professional as possible. I am blessed to have a cousin who was intensely talented with his camera, although for him, it was just a hobby. We met at a beautiful park with rolling hills and lots of trees, complete with a gazebo - my idea of a perfect outing!

I was able to get some amazing photographs of myself, without my camera! At the time, this was very hard to do! While I post this more for fun, it's a good example of how branding portraits do not always have to include your business or your craft. It shows YOU!!!! Your unique and authentic personality - you and your story as a human on this wonderful earth. Images of our own personality help connect us to our ideal clients - it makes us human and relatable.

I am personally excited to get my own branding photographs done within the next month or so! It's been over ten years since these photos were taken and I have changed - not a ton, but enough. My brand is also VERY different - I have a different target client, a different niche, a different view on life, and I am in a very different chapter of my journey. I am so excited to get some amazing photographs of the NEW me, showcasing the powerful mom boss that I am.
