Platforms...Making it More Simple
Over the last year, I have realized my crazy, stressed mind has melted into my businesses, both my virtual assistant business and my photography business. NOT GOOD! It has made me so disorganized and I am upset with myself for letting it get this bad. So here’s to organization! Here’s to creating business guides, consistent branding, operation manuals, and simplifying the process. Below are the platforms I use for my business. Maybe you will find something you want to try! (affiliate codes are listed)
PIXIESET
website hosting, gallery hosting, and mini session booking
This is where 50% of my time goes - updating and building my website, adjusting and updating client galleries, and scheduling and booking mini sessions. While Pixieset has the ability to book and email, it’s not a full CRM yet, so I have only used it for mini sessions so far. It doesn’t quite have enough for me to do full sessions. I absolutely LOVE it for website building and gallery hosting though.

DUBSADO
my CRM (client relationship manager) for: Sacramental Photography, mini and Gold Head Shots, Team/Office Shots, and all Personal Branding
This is the heart of my client interaction. All my lead gen forms are here, my inquiries, my contracts, my questionnaires, everything. Dubsado has an intense amount of automations and integrations available - so much so that it’s overwhelming to me right now. But to understand the potential as my businesses grows - it’s so exciting!

I am only on three social media platforms. Why you ask? Because I really don’t like social media, it’s exhausting to keep up with ever-changing “algorithms”, and it’s a soul sucking experience most of the time. So I choose to show up differently and intently for each one.
This is where I have changed the most this year. I have recently decided to step back my work on Instagram and just showcase my photographs. Sometimes I post my fine art, sometimes I will post a relevant photo and a verse or longer description. Other times, it will be simply to share a recent branding session I have done. But all posts will showcase professional photos.
This is where the bulk of my information will be, outside of LinkedIn. Not only will fine art photos, branding photos, and head shots be shown, but my infographics, links, etc. A majority of fellow moms and business groups are on Meta Facebook so I am choosing to show up there.
This is the newest, and honestly most confusing platform for me. I am a victim of platform brainwashing, if you will. I mindlessly scroll IG and FB and I numb out. It’s not where I interact, but it’s where I show up the most. But LinkedIn is something so special, so unique, and so different….it’s been a huge change to shift mindset. I love it though…it really is what I am seeking. So here’s to continuing to try new things, break out of old, not so great habits, and do intentional work to shift! I am working on posting authentic content, while learning to shift into meaningful content at the same time. I am excited to connect more - especially with fellow Catholic Business Owners. My passion lies deep within faith, and I am excited to see myself grow alongside everyone else.
